چکیده
In this work we study thermodynamic manifestations of the quantum criticality in multiband unconventional superconductors. As a guiding example consider scenario magnetic critical point model that captures superconductivity coexistence with spin-density wave. We show situations when superconducting order parameter has incidental nodes at isolated points, fluctuations lead to renormalization relative $T$-linear slope London penetration depth. This leads nonmonotonic dependence depth as function doping and concomitant peak structure across point. addition, determine contribution specific heat onset phase. Our theoretical analysis is corroborated by making comparison our results recent experimental data from low-temperature measurements optimal composition ${\mathrm{BaFe}}_{2}{({\mathrm{As}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{P}}_{x})}_{2}$.

Investigation of Thermodynamic Properties of Heavy Metals from Melting and Critical Point Properties
A statistical mechanical based equation of state has been employed to calculate the liquid density of lead, mercury, bismuth and lead-bismuth and lead-lithium eutectic alloys. The equation is basically that of Song, Mason and Ihm [Ihm G, Song Y, Mason EA. J. Chem. Phys.1991; 94: 3839] which is modified by Ghatee and Boushehri. Three temperature dependent parameters are required to use this e...
متن کاملWhere Is the Quantum Critical Point in the Cuprate Superconductors?
Transport measurements in the hole-doped cuprates show a ‘strange metal’ normal state with an electrical resistance which varies linearly with temperature. This strange metal phase is often identified with the quantum critical region of a zero temperature quantum critical point (QCP) at hole density x = xm, near optimal doping. A long-standing problem with this picture is that low temperature e...
متن کاملThermoelectric Behavoir Near Magnetic Quantum Critical Point
We use the coupled 2d-spin-3d-fermion model proposed by Rosch et. al. (Phys. Rev. Lett. 79, 159 (1997)) to study the thermoelectric behaviour of a heavy fermion compound when it is close to an antiferromagnetic quantum critical point. When the low energy spin fluctuations are quasi two dimensional, as has been observed in YbRh2Si2 and CeCu6−xAux, with a typical 2d ordering wavevector and 3d Fer...
متن کاملMagnetic excitations of stripes near a quantum critical point.
We calculate the dynamical spin structure factor of spin waves for weakly coupled stripes. At low energy, the spin-wave cone intensity is strongly peaked on the inner branches. As energy is increased, there is a saddlepoint followed by a square-shaped continuum rotated 45 degrees from the low energy peaks. This is reminiscent of recent high energy neutron scattering data on the cuprates. The si...
